The Hotel has been built in 1925 . The original achitectural plans can be found in the city archives. The owner was a car repairer of Thionville , who asked for the right to open a new hotel in the building. In 1929, a gas station was build on the sidewalk and the actual garage was the place where cars where cleaned.
